Job Description

Our client, an Ontario-based industrial contractor specializing in turnkey millwrighting, heavy rigging, machinery installation and relocation, electrical services, and automation solutions for manufacturing and industrial clients, is seeking an experienced AZ Transport Driver responsible for the safe loading, securement, and delivery of heavy equipment (including forklifts, telehandlers, and process machinery) to construction and industrial job sites.

$28-35/hour

Responsibilities

  • Transport forklifts, telehandlers, and industrial equipment to and from project sites
  • Load and secure equipment in compliance with Ontario transport regulations
  • Assist with loading/unloading using ramps, winches, or support equipment
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Coordinate deliveries with site supervisors and operations staff
  • Support occasional equipment staging and yard organization
  • Maintain delivery documentation and driver logs as required

Requirements

*Must have legal work authorization in Canada - Canadahires does NOT provide sponsorship/visa assistance.*
 

  • Valid AZ Driver’s Licence
  • Experience hauling heavy equipment and machinery
  • Knowledge of proper load securement practices
  • Comfortable working on active construction and industrial sites
  • Ability to assist with equipment loading and positioning
  • Clean driver’s abstract preferred
      

Preferred:

  • Experience transporting forklifts or construction equipment
  • Telehandler or forklift operating experience
  • Rigging awareness or equipment handling experience
