Key Responsibilities
1. SingleStore (MemSQL) Experience – Strong Advantage
Practical experience with SingleStore—including cluster configuration, ingestion pipelines, partitions, column store row store concepts, and high‑availability setups—will be a significant plus.
Ability to manage SingleStore environments for high-speed analytics, distributed SQL queries, and real‑time workloads.
Familiarity with SingleStore tools for monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
2. Strong RDBMS Administration Skills
Solid hands‑on experience with any mainstream RDBMS (such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, DB2), with depth beyond writing SQL queries.
Ability to perform database administration tasks including:
Schema design, indexing strategy, query optimization Backup and recovery planning Data replication, clustering, and high‑availability configurations User/role management and security controls Capacity planning and performance tuning Experience handling large datasets, transactional systems, and high‑throughput environments.
Good with any RDBMS ( not only SQL level , but DBA kind of work) Good to have python or any scripting Good in Unix Very Good Problem Solving skill Good Communication skill
