Job Description

The ideal candidate has 6-7+ years of hands-on pool service, repair, renovation, equipment installation, plumbing, leak detection, and related field leadership experience.

This role excludes new pool construction and full pool installations.
 

 
Pool Equipment, Plumbing & Electrical
 

· Install, troubleshoot, repair, and replace pumps, motors, filters, salt systems, heaters, automation controls, lighting, transformers, chemical feeders, and sanitization equipment.

· Complete equipment pad installations, upgrades, pump and motor rebuilds, and pool plumbing modifications.

· Diagnose electrical, wiring, bonding, grounding, control, and automation issues while following applicable safety standards.
 

Renovation, Repairs & Leak Detection
 

· Measure, fit, and install vinyl liners, hanging vinyl covers, and safety covers.

· Perform leak detection, pressure testing, underground plumbing diagnostics, excavation, and repair of suction and return lines.

· Install or replace pool accessories such as ladders, handrails, diving boards, lights, safety covers, and related poolside components.

· Complete minor restoration work connected to repairs.
 

Seasonal Services, Leadership & Customer Service
 

· Lead and assist with seasonal pool openings and closings.

· Train and mentor junior technicians, complete quality control checks, and maintain safe work practices that meet company standards.

· Communicate repair findings, recommendations, and project updates clearly while preparing accurate service reports, work orders, invoices, and job documentation.

Job Requirements

Must be legally allowed to work in Canada.
Must have previous pool experience.
 

Required

· MINIMUM 6-7+ years of swimming pool service, repair, renovation, equipment installation, plumbing, leak detection, and related field leadership experience.

· Previous experience as a Lead Hand, Crew Lead, or Senior Technician.

· Advanced knowledge of pool equipment, hydraulic systems, electrical troubleshooting, automation systems, liners, leak detection, and underground plumbing repairs.

· Experience with Pentair, Hayward, Jandy, and other major manufacturers.

· Ability to independently diagnose and repair pool equipment and related systems.

· Strong customer service, communication, organization, and documentation skills.

· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

· Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions.
