Job Description

• Prepare cabinet and furniture surfaces for finishing, including sanding, cleaning, and other required preparation
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishing products using appropriate techniques and equipment
• Match colours, stains, and finishes to approved control samples
• Inspect finished products to ensure colour, coverage, texture, and overall quality meet established standards
• Complete touch-ups and corrections as required
• Clean, maintain, and safely operate painting and finishing equipment
• Follow established safety procedures and requirements when handling finishing products and equipment
• Coordinate with production team members to ensure work is completed according to production schedules
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed
• Identify quality concerns and communicate issues that may affect production or the finished product
• Physically demanding, must be comfortable working on your feet all day

Job Requirements

*MUST HAVE:  SPRAY BOOTH EXPERIENCE, STRONG ATTENTION TO DETAIL*

• 2–5 years of experience as a painter-finisher in cabinet, furniture, millwork, or a similar manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of wood finishing techniques and surface preparation
• Experience working with paints, stains, varnishes, and other wood finishing products
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Experience using and maintaining painting and finishing equipment
• Ability to identify imperfections and complete precise touch-ups and corrections
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently within production timelines
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• A strong commitment to workplace safety and proper material handling
