• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on our heavy
duty landscaping equipment and forklifts.
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
• Respond to service calls at job sites, ensuring prompt, efficient, and safe repairs.
• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and recommend
solutions.
• Maintain detailed records of all repairs, parts used, and services performed.
• Collaborate with the operations team to address equipment concerns and minimize
disruptions.
• Support garage-based servicing of forklifts and other large vehicles when not
attending job sites.
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized, and safe work
environment.
• Communicate repair needs and equipment status clearly to supervisors and team
members.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a mechanic, preferably with forklifts or heavy
equipment.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites.
• Forklift certification is considered an asset but not required.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
• Physically fit and capable of handling demanding workloads, including heavy lifting
and prolonged periods of standing.
